I have had a long list of problems with my Sense in the last 3 weeks: firstly, inflated floor count, which then lead to issues when I attempted to reboot it and subsequently reset it to the factory settings; it finally started back up again but since then it often, of it’s own volition, switches off (whilst still on my wrist) and restarts itself (sometimes at night when I’m asleep and the vibrations, upon restart, wake me up); the app often “cannot find a fitbit” when I attempt to sync stats; the battery is now not holding charge for more than a couple of days; and the strap has come undone twice this week. Thankfully, I have noticed on both occasions and managed to retrieve the watch. The strap is Fitbit’s own and I have ensured that it was fitted correctly.
I can only conjecture that this particular piece of kit is suffering from existential angst, circa 2020 style. Why else would it, in its infancy, have such trouble with the most basic of its functions and develop kamikaze tendencies to boot?
I have owned it for a sum total of 7 weeks and it has been on the fritz for half that time. It’s obviously a faulty piece and I am very unhappy that such an expensive watch is already causing such problems. I would like it replaced.

Thank you @kawaiiko 🙂. So happy to know that you’ve not experienced any issues, gives me hope that it’s likely just this one particular device, rather than the model itself. As a loyal fitbit user of 10 (+, from what I can recall) years, it’s disheartening to encounter such problems with their latest top of the range device.
I did purchase it from the website, in fact I’d pre-ordered it as soon as its launch was announced. Trouble is their live chat and helplines are both unavailable atm. Thanks, Rona. Hence the very public rant. Hoping that one of the moderators will pick up on this issue.
