Firmware update Not Showing Up in App

I received the email about a firmware update but when i log in the app and refresh/sync, no alerts come up for the update. Does that mean that my device doesn't have to do the update? (I have had other models in the past that i no longer use -- could it have been to one of those?) Is there another way to select to do the update if the notice isn't showing?

You can check if your watch is affected at the page stated in this Fitbit announcement

Hello @whaleStar37 and welcome to the Community.  This firmware update involves some Sense and Versa 3 models.  Fitbit's Help article said that it could take a month for this to roll out to all affected users.  I recommend paying closer attention to your Sense while wearing or charging it.  If you have any signs of battery overheating, stop wearing it and do not charge it.

If you don't get an update notice soon, then it's possible that Fitbit has paused the update.  I'm not a Fitbit employee, but there are many posts about issues with this update.
