FitBit Sense Stopped Tracking Floors

Fitbit Sense stopped tracking floors somewhere in December I believe. Used to track them every time I went up the flight of stairs in my house and when I went up my driveway hill. I'm not sure what changed or what went wrong but ever since then it has stopped tracking any and all flights ever since then. I've done resets of the watch, de-synced from the app. Was hoping maybe some update might have messed with it and was waiting to see if it might just come back but within a couple months it still has yet to count any stairs. Sad because I like seeing the congratulatory fireworks in my FitBit app for all goals achieved which I can't get now because of the no stair counts. Was wondering if there was another way to fix this?

Hi @iAmbear  - try the SimpleFloors app, it will show you exactly how your pressure sensor is working and tries to give you an accurate floor count.

If the pressure doesn't change it could be because the tiny hole for the pressure sensor is blocked.

Think of it as a very sensitive ear drum when cleaning so don't stick anything in it but wipe very carefully.

I downloaded it and gave it a shot after wiping down the watch. I can see the pressure gauge changing on the app but it still does not seem to be tracking the floors on the simple floors app or on the today app. Although, I may also not be entirely understanding the pressures and what it should look like if working correctly

@iAmbear  - it is good the pressure changes, it shows the watch is working.

If you go up two floors walking normally and the pressure changes down more than 36 pa it should count a floor in the app?

If you hold the banisters it may not detect it as walking upstairs and may not count.
