Fitbit Premium Drains Battery

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've seen threads where the moderators disavow this notion, but my Sense started draining rapidly when I signed up for premium (2 days vs. 4 to 5 on average).   A little experiment.  I canceled premium because my CC was stolen (unrelated).  During the period where Premium was not operating, the watch reverted back to the normal 4 to 5 day charge period.  I've been told by Fitbit that you just to get a new watch.  There must be a setting in premium that drains the battery.  Intentionally?  If you're willing to pay for premium, you're will to buy a new watch too.

Hi @Mark20126069 - to verify the theory with premium active, turn off the phone's Bluetooth for a few days and restart the watch when you don't need to sync.

The new V4 Fitbit App has some strange syncing issues which can affect battery life.

Also changing clock face may help.

Premium unlocks or activates additional features that will use battery.  Therefore it would make sense (no pun intended) that premium drains the battery rapidly. Disabled premium features you do not use. I believe there is a thread on how to get more battery time between charges

I’ve been a premium member for over 3 years.  I’m still getting 4-5 days between charges.
