Which warranty is better to get, the one from the Fitbit store or the Asurion one from Amazon. Also, can I purchase the Asurion one from Amazon without getting the Sence directly from Amazon?

Hi @Hadden8176
Here is the information about the Fitbit Protection Plan:
An extended warranty called the Fitbit Protection Plan (FPP) is available for purchase with certain Fitbit products purchased in the United States from fitbit.com. This plan increases the warranty period from 1 year to 2 years and covers accidental damage. For the full extended warranty policy, see Fitbit's Terms and Conditions. Here is the link for these terms and conditions https://www.fitbit.com/content/docs/store/fitbit_protection_terms.pdf
Note that you may see a one-time, temporary, offer in the Fitbit app to purchase the FPP within 30 days after you set up a new device.
Amazon Asurion Plan:
You can read what is covered in the Asurion plan on the Amazon website under the Fitbit Sense. It looks like there is a 2-year plan and a 3-year plan available.
I do not believe you can purchase the Asurion warranty from Amazon if you do not purchase the Fitbit device from Amazon.
I hope this helps 😊

100% buy from Fitbit and get the Fitbit warranty. Amazon is usually great but Asurion is a JOKE!
Backstory: I bought my husband's Fitbit Sense directly from Fitbit and got the Fitbit warranty. When his Fitbit broke (screen separated from the back), I submitted the claim on Fitbit. paid a $30ish fee, and they immediately mailed us a new replacement. We didn't have to mail in his old watch or even submit a photo. He had the new Fitbit in hand within 2 business days. GREAT service.
I bought my Fitbit Versa 3 on Amazon and got the Asurion warranty. I submitted my claim on April 17. Asurion emailed me a label to mail in my broken Fitbit. I put it in the mail the very next day (April 18). But Asurion only pays for UPS ground shipping, so it took 7 days (until April 25) to even arrive. Asurion said I'd receive an email once it had arrived, but I never received that email. On April 28 (4 more days later), I checked the claim portal and it still said my Fitbit was in transit and not received by Asurion yet. But the UPS tracking information said it had been delivered to them 4 days earlier. Then I had to "chat" with Asurion, they admitted that they had received the item but hadn't done anything with it yet. Asurion has some in-house "service center" where they send the Fitbit for an assessment to determine if it's repairable or needs to be replaced. I keep asking for updates and they say "Our Service Advisor will get an update from our authorized repair center. Our technician is working on it closely. Our service adviser will be getting in touch with them too to get the latest update to you." Twelve days have gone by and I'm just sitting here waiting. I still have no clue if they're even going to repair or replace my Fitbit and haven't gotten a single update. REALLY wishing I'd bought directly from Fitbit at this point. Asurion is the worst warranty service I've ever experienced.
UPDATE: Still haven't heard back from Asurion. But I had the bright idea to reach out to Fitbit directly since I was still within the one-year warranty that attaches to all new Fitbit devices (regardless of where purchased). Within half an hour of chatting with Fitbit, they're sending me a replacement at no cost. Received 5-7 day shipping confirmation the same day as chatting with Fitbit. Moral of the story, Fitbit's customer service beats Asurion HANDS DOWN.
