Hi Fitbit Community/Support,
In the last month (July/August 2021) I have had a fully up to date Fitbit sense with a current Fitbit app on a Samsung Galaxy S21 and for two Saturdays (Friday night into Saturday morning) the Fitbit Sense metrics have not reset from the day before throwing off data in the Sense and consequently app.
In reading other forms for other Fitbit users I see a few other reports over the last few years. Is there a permanent path forward or fix for this? It happening once in a year is not a deal breaker but to have it happen twice in such a short period of time is not acceptable given the premium paid for this technology.
The forms state a "restart" of the Sense and hoping for the best the next day as the strategy. That does not seem acceptable to me. Moving from the Ionic to the Sense in the last few months has been a rocky transition to say the least.
What is the permanent fix Fitbit?

Not sure if this counts as a permanent fix, but can you just verify that your account is set to the correct time zone?

Appreciate the thought. I did check the time zone and it is correct (I think a few other forms mentioned that as well). This issue appears to be rather sporadic on when it happens.

I think it's definitely something with your device then. I have a Galaxy A12 (not exactly the same as you, but darn close) and I don't have that issue, and like you, all apps are up to date. Have you tried contacting Support directly (link is at the bottom of the page) directly?

I have seen this case as you mention in other occasions but as @DramaQueenDiva mentioned, this is sporadic.
I would recommend checking @DramaQueenDiva's advise or contacting our Support Team for more information,

This is not a sporadic issue for me ..I have to reset my sense every morning otherwise the activity markers just show the previous days results...I raised a help desk issue with Fitbit but it was never resolved leaving me with a huge waste of money on my wrist !
And now the swimming doesn't register...wish I had not upgraded to the Sense !

What happened when you contacted our Support team?
I understand how frustrating this could be and does your swimming activity register at all?
