Fitbit Sense appears to have died

It appears that my fitbit sense has died.  The battery was low so I connected to charge and the screen stayed blank.  I let it charge for 1 hr and attempted to restart the sense and there was no response.  I have connected it to my computer and the issue remains.  Do you have any advice or has the device failed.

Sounds more like the infamous charging connection issue. Try cleaning the contact points on the watch and the prongs on the charger. I use an alcohol wipe. Also, try a different charging block. Sometimes a simple taking it off then putting it back on works for me when it's not charging or charging very slow.

Thanks, I had done those suggestions prior to the post and should have stated that.  I must admit that the charging cable/charging system is a poor system design.  I had 22% on my sense and it was to be working prior to connecting.
