Fitbit Sense cracked screen

I bought a Fitbit Sense on December 10, 2021 and on April 30, 2022 the screen cracked without dropping nor banging the watch.

I contacted Fitbit support and the first time they told me that my device is no longer in the warranty period.

The second time they told me that the limited warranty does not apply to cracked screens.

When I bought the watch I was not offered an extended warranty.

Fitbit Sense is the top of the line smartwatch from Fitbit and it looks like it is disposable because they offered me a 35% discount to buy a new one instead of repairing it.

That is correct. Cracked screens are not covered under the warranty.

The screen is very fragile. Mine broke while working at my desk. When I contacted fitbit, they said they would have someone contact me. That has not happened. My family and I have owned 5 fitbits. We will be finding something else. Sense is a disposable product at at premium price.
