Had my pulse ox (very consistent with a manual count) on the same arm as my FB sense (wearing it per instructions). Sense read 82 while puleox and manual count were above 120bpm. I adjusted the Sense to lower on my wrist (regular day wear per instructions) and it read 92vs manual and pulse ox 130. I moved it to my wrist and waited about 6 minutes (someone suggested it was just slow) and while my manual check and pulse ox were saying above 140bpm my sense finally said over 120bpm.
I've had Superventricular Tachycardia for over 30years. I know when my heart rate goes over 120 without stopping to check. But consistently the Sense is reading much lower than my actual heart rate. I only got the stupid Sense because I needed to be able to report things quickly to my cardiologist

Hello @Annjunie, thank you for sharing your feedback and for all the information that you've provided about your Sense watch.
Before considering other options, and in addition to the the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information that you already mentioned, I would recommend to try performing a restart.
Please keep me posted.

Did the reset and still very laggy at best on hr readings. I've tightened it only because of weight loss. I am still wearing it to the suggestions in the article you referenced. It is not dirty on the led side (my own guess). It just... Stinks at getting my HR 🤷🏼:female_sign:.

Also I rarely go to the web based community forums. Sorry for the late response.

Wrist worn devices are notoriously inaccurate for HR. I had open heart surgery and did cardiac rehab with my fitbit on. HR was off by as much as 30 during rehab. I was wired to an actual holter monitor while exercising so that was accurate, the fitbit was not. When I actually work out, I use a polar HR monitor, it's worn on the arm and it is very accurate, I wore it to rehab to check it. The only time wrist worn devices are accurate is when you're sedentary. Good luck!

I have the same problem. I am ready to send it back. The heart rate monitor is suppose to be better and it was way better on my versa 2!

Same issues here. They have raised a case for me so I’m waiting for the outcome. I’m very disappointed

I’ve had a case raised with regards to mine. My old Versa and previous Fitbit devises have been way more accurate in HR than the sense. It’s been a total waste of money.
just hoping the case will be resolved and issue rectified or I will be moving away from Fitbit after 7 years. It’s been £300 wasted so far
