Fitbit Sense isn't syncing to the Fitbit app

Ever since I bought my sense, I have had issue syncing it to the app. I will restart the app, turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on, un pair it and pair it back up. I have never had such issues with a Fitbit not syncing. This is the first watch I have bought that didn't automatically sync and there are so many issues. Why can we automatically sync this watch?

Hello @Jenirose! Make sure you have no other device on that has the Fitbit app running. It bugs out if you do it. For me this worked multiple times. If it doesn't work hopefully Fitbit staff reply to this thread and fix it.

The syncing problems are often with the phone settings. It's necessary to know the versions of all the devices and software in order to get the settings correct.

 

Ideally if setup correctly the watch stays synced with the phone. You can check the state of things anytime on your watch using the SimpleCheckUp app found in the gallery.

 

For help with the setup in your case you can contact Fitbit Support directly.

I'd like to let you know that the syncing process can be interrupted by several factors, but at this time, I'd suggest making sure that your Fitbit Sense is paired to your Fitbit account. If not, I'd recommend pairing your Sense one more time to your existing account by following the instructions provided in this help article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

 

After that, please consider the information and the suggested tips in this help article to resolve any syncing inconvenience.
