I changed my ionic and got a fitbit Sense, and I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of accuracy.
The GPS tracking is a joke, so is the floor/altitude counter, so is the steps counter.
I just came back from hiking in the mountains, the GPS connected well, but was completely inaccurate, a 4 km hike for a 9/10km and same for the altitude, 13 floors for what should have been 300. I wish I could hope for a fix, but apparently nothing has been done for the last 2 years, I'm considering sending it back, it clearly does not work as it should and that's a shame. The ionic was doing a great job compare to the Sense and I regret it dearly.
Is there anything to do to fix it beside keeping on hoping for a magic update that would finally work?

I am having terrible problems with my Sense, it's very inaccurate. The watch will count steps when I'm doing crochet, driving, and as of today, when I'm rummaging through my bag. Stairs/floors usually wrong (under or over, there's no consistency) and I can be working my bottom off in a HIIT class but my watch will show my heart rate as below 110 (and I know it's closer to cardio/peak levels). I used to love Fitbit but not anymore, the latest batch of devices are Apple watch design replicas with £20 tracker capabilities. I no longer consider Fitbit to be a trustworthy brand
