Hello!

My Fitbit Sense counts steps while i’m not moving (adds about 100-300steps).And while im sleeping, it adds about 30-60steps.

What can i do about it?

With respect,

Karina

@KarinaRjabenko I hope you're doing well!

Let me help you with your Sense detecting steps when you aren't walking. Your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may move but you won't be actually walking. For example, this may happen when you are playing the drums, burping a baby or clapping. It can also happen while driving. You can negate these steps by logging a driving activity. You can try wearing your device on your non-dominant hand but select that hand as dominant on the device’s settings to make it less sensitive to movement.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello @AlvaroFitbit !! 🙂
Thanx for the answer. Unfortunatelly my device counts steps while im not moving my hand too. Yesterday i took a test: i lyied on the coach for the 10-15 minutes and didnt moved my hand and its added +40steps. I changed in app my wrist from non-dominants to dominant (wearing device on non-dominant). Maybe its just so sensitive, but if i compare my previous device Fitbit VERSA, then it was not so sensitive, it matched with my phone steps (differents maybe 200-400). With SENSE device, the steps are different like about 3000-4000.

Is it possible to callibrate steps of change the sensitivity? I understand that device can not show me 100% right steps, but this is

Weird, that it lied so much more.
