Sometimes I have to wear a dress watch and leave my Fitbit Sense at home. Later I will find it stayed active for hours after I took it off, giving me inaccurate sleep or other readings for when I wasn’t wearing it. How can I get it to “sleep” when I’m not wearing it without a full shutdown?

Hello @WanderingJ and welcome to the Community. The LEDs are supposed to turn off when you take your Fitbit off. I've seen instances where my LEDs don't turn off and there are spurious readings from the light bouncing off something, usually the watch band. Right now my Sense 2 is on my table in front of me and the watch band overlaps a little.. The LEDs are on and it's recording a heart rate. Not only that, the heart rate changes! I moved the band so the overlap went away, the LEDs turned off and the measured heart rate stopped. Just make sure the LEDs turn off when you're not wearing it.
