Fitbit Sense thinks it's a Versa 3

I bought the Sense about two months ago now.  It's been working fine until a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't respond using voice to text messages.  Now, last night I got an update for Versa 3.  I tried to cancel it, but it failed anyway. Now, when I go to my dashboard, it says I have a Versa 3 and the same when I go into my settings on the device.  Any help on this?

@RickFlynn413 That definitely sounds strange. I know this is stating the obvious, but is the device you're using definitely a Sense? It has the polished chrome bezel around the device?

I think the first thing to do is (if you're using Android) to clear the Fitbit apps cache, then see if it is still saying Versa 3. The next thing I'd recommend is to uninstall the Fitbit app and install it again, see if that fixes it. If not, I think this leaves you with the only option of removing the device from your account and trying to set it up again. If you choose to do this, also go into your phones Bluetooth settings and make sure to forget/unpair from there too.
