I have had my fitbit for around 2 years. Up to now it has worked perfectly well I love it. Today I charged it, and around 30 after it was completely charged it just randomly turned off and I am not able to turn it back on. I tried several things, including customer service and connecting it back to the charger, but it's still the same. Customer service said they would file it and get back to me in w3 hours. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how were you able to resolve it. Thank you.

It is unbelievable! So many people with the same problem!!
Today I received a reply saying they can do nothing because my country I am
now is not covered by warranty – but I did buy at US. Anyways.. almost 2
years, there is no guarantee anyway.
After 10 years using FitBit I giveup and I am saying goodbye to the brand.
It is not the first time something like that happened so… once you
understand but repeatedly is unacceptable.
Hope you all can fix your smartwatches.
Happy holidays!
Samma sak hände mig i morse..har fungerat såg gott som felfritt i drygt 6 månader. Men nu svårt och går inte att göra något. Laddade för nån dag sen. Enl. Appen har den 87%
Best AnswerWoke up this morning and mine isn’t working, how bizarre and frustrating ! It’s probably about 2.5 years old, I guess l’m buying myself an early Christmas present.
Best AnswerSame here too... Charge says 0%, won't charge at all now, and all I was getting was the FitBit logo. It is a few months out of warranty so according to the other comments, Fitbit will likely only offer a discount for another.
Best AnswerSame thing happened with mine yesterday! It was working just fine all day, had at least 80% battery and then right before bed I couldn't get the screen to turn on and the side button wouldn't vibrate when I pressed it. Tried all the ways to reset it, left it on the charger through the night and still nothing. How can all these devices just stop working over the last few months? This one was a replacement for the Ionic that I had that was recalled. Seems like they need to do the same with the Sense.
Have you tried a hard reset? Press left side of watch, hold down button till you see the startup logo. It happened to me.
Best AnswerThat doesn't work. It is 100% non-responsive. Side button doesn't work, screen doesn't work and when I tried to charge it, it only heated up.

Best Answer. Last tuesday, the 12th, I took my Sense off charge that morning on a full battery, went to work, all was well until at the end of my 10.5 hour shift I noticed the clock face was black. Went home and tried pushing buttons, trying to sync , restart it, change clock face. I’ve tried everything. It’s on, the green light is on on the back of it, you can feel the vibrations when you push the buttons, it will sync to my phone, but the screen is black.
I noticed just now the day the screen went black is the same day the update happened. I’m not sure if that’s a coincidence or a link to the problem?

Best AnswerIt sounds like fitbit is bricking people's sense watches to force them over to newer hardware.
Guess i'm taking the bait, i'll be switching to an amazefit.
Dear fitbit folk, please stop bricking people's hardware.
I agree. This is the first time j e experienced anything like this and I’ve used fitbits for years.
I spoke with customer service last night and now that I’ve realized the update is most likely the problem I’m stuck with a watch that doesn’t work, with no support from Fitbit reps, and I’m forced to buy a new one.
I’ve decided I will go with apple. I have an iPhone anyway.
