Fitbit Sense - unable to get HRV with EDA scan

I have had my Sense for two months. I have never got HRV reading after an EDA scan. I have tried to wear the device in various places on my wrist. I am keeping still. My palm is in contact with the metal frame. No matter what I try to do, I always get "unable to detect".

Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I recommend doing the following:

1. Check if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version: How do I update the Fitbit app?

2. Sync the app. 
3. Restart your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

4. Restart your mobile device.

It's kind of laughable that something that should work basically but you have to go all through these loopholes to get it to work.

It's like back in the day when you had to blow into a Nintendo system to get the dust out.

And the other thing is how does it measure your heart rate variability when you're sleeping and your hand is not even being pressed against the Watch?

Having the same issue. Can never get it to work. Likely getting an Apple Watch next time I decide to get another smartwatch.

This doesn't fix the issue. If it did, it would only be intermittent. I shouldn't have to reset my watch each time I want to do an EDA scan.
