I have had my Sense for two months. I have never got HRV reading after an EDA scan. I have tried to wear the device in various places on my wrist. I am keeping still. My palm is in contact with the metal frame. No matter what I try to do, I always get "unable to detect".

1. Check if your Fitbit app is updated to the latest version: How do I update the Fitbit app?
2. Sync the app.
3. Restart your watch: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
4. Restart your mobile device.
You can confirm the instructions at How do I start an EDA scan on my Fitbit device?

It's kind of laughable that something that should work basically but you have to go all through these loopholes to get it to work.
It's like back in the day when you had to blow into a Nintendo system to get the dust out.
Best AnswerAnd the other thing is how does it measure your heart rate variability when you're sleeping and your hand is not even being pressed against the Watch?
Best AnswerThis doesn't fix the issue. If it did, it would only be intermittent. I shouldn't have to reset my watch each time I want to do an EDA scan.
