My Fitbit weekly report was generated and email to me this morning and my steps are off when I calculated I counted102,993 and the report said 98,183. When I look back over the report all the other numbers are off to. Please advise as to why this keeps happening.
Kind regards,
Monique
Best AnswerHello Johnny,
Thanks so much for your response, yes I’m sure. I’ve made no changes to my settings. This doesn’t happen all the time with weekly report data being incorrect. But I monitored it this week and saw that the report was incorrect. Not sure what’s causing the discrepancies, but it is happening.

Depending when the Sense was last sync before the report was created the amount of steps on it may vary.
This means : eg. If the report was created on Monday, but your last sync was on Sunday noon, the steps from the afternoon might not be counted for your weekly report. That's why we recommend to sync your Fitbit on Sunday, so that the all the steps are reflected on the report.

Best AnswerHello Juan,
Thanks so very much for your response. I’ll give that a shot on Sunday night to see if that helps with the data reporting accurately.
Kind regards,
Monique
Hello
Sorry it’s taken so long to respond back. I’ve been monitoring the weekly generated status reports for consistency, and every week I’ve done as you suggested by syncing my Fitbit every night before I go to bed, and the reports are still wrong. I’ve attached two picks for your review.
One pick is a snap from my weekly steps that end on Saturday for me. My new week starts on Sunday. The other pic is of the weekly generated report. For years they were the same numbers, but here lately there is a discrepancy and I’m trying to find out why and how to resolve.
kind regards,
Monique
Best AnswerLet me be a little clear the total steps for the weekly report are what is wrong. The report says my total steps are 101,537 and my total steps for the week says it was 105,965 according to the fit bit so. I’m sure how many floors I’ve claimed and some other things are off, but I haven’t looked into them. My concern right now is the discrepancy in the total number of steps I’ve taken for the week.
