Fitbit Sense won't stop rebooting

My Sense won't stop rebooting. It normally vibrates, shows the logo then after about 30 seconds it reboots. It never makes it past the logo before it reboots, but sometimes it will still vibrate/give haptic feedback when pressing it's button, so it's not COMPLETELY unresponsive and there may still be a chance.

I've tried the following but have had no success:

  1. Holding down the button for 10 seconds to do a hard reboot.
  2. Holding down the button for 10 seconds and then two seconds or however long until I feel a longer vibration to do a manual factory reset. I'm not sure if the second vibration was for the reset or the normal reboot though. I can't seem to find an official source on how to do a manual factory reset, only other community posts.
  3. Unpaired from my phones bluetooth
  4. Turned off my phones bluetooth
  5. Disconnected it from my fitibit app
  6. Let it set for a couple days to completely die and hopefully refresh the memory cache (it would show the 0% battery still, then the logo and then become unresponsive.)
  7. Tried charging it back up

Sorry to say you are likely as screwed as the rest of us. After the update, many of our Senses either got stuck in a boot loop or just stuck on the logo. If you are outside your warranty, Fitbit will fail to take any accountability for the software issues that are causing the problems in the first place and instead offer you a 35% off coupon so you can waste your hard earned money on another device.
