Fitbit activities not syncing to Strava

Hi, I've noticed that my activities are no longer syncing to Strava, but this has always worked in the past (for several years and with two different Fitbit models). These are activities with GPS data such as walks - I can see the maps of the routes on my Fitbit account but they aren't syncing to Strava like they used to.

 

The last activity that synced to Strava was on 16th November. I already tried removing the connection between Fitbit and Strava, and adding it again using the official instructions, but this didn't fix the problem. Is this a problem anyone else is having and is it being looked into?

I have the same issue.  Fitbit stopped syncing to Strava on approximately the 17th November. I've also dropped and recreated the link.

Same issue with my Luxe - I try every few days to fix with the recommended steps but it hasn’t worked yet. 
Really disappointing that it’s taken so long without even an acknowledgment of the issue.

I fixed this - it also broke for me after the Nov FitBit update.

 

The solve - I created a new fitbit account and synced the new account to strava and it all worked.

 

If your fitbit login is a gmail email address it's easy to create a new fitbit account without having to get a new email address. I just added "+fitbitbug" at the end of my email username and gmail sees it as a valid address and just puts the mail to that address in my same account. 

 

I can't believe I wasted 3 months and 10 phone calls to fitbit support. They were zero help, but so glad I decided to try this.

I have found the fix for this issue, which also began for me around the same Nov date. 

 

The answer is to create a new fitbit account and connect it to strava.

the solution is to create a new fitbit account, sync the new account to strava, and it works. you don't have to create an entirely new email for fitbit if you use gmail, just use a new email address with a + in it like myemail+fitbitbug at gmail.com
