Fitbit sense not storing any data from previous days

I purchased my Fitbit sense less than a week ago.

When using it will count my steps throughout the day and will show up on the dashboard on the app but when it gets to the next day there is no data stored and just say 0 steps. It also has not tracked any sleep information since having it. 

I have it connected to my Samsung s20 . Phone calls and notifications are coming through fine though

Try the following, it normally clears App glitches

In Android phone Settings *

Apps

Fitbit

Storage - clear cache [not data]

Force Fitbit shutdown

[though it doesn't seem to fully]

Log back in to the Fitbit app

 

*Quick Shortcut: Press and hold the Fitbit launch icon, then App info [on some phones]
