I was told that - aside from firmware updates, which are "rolled out over weeks" so you may not get it when you'd like or expect it - the wifi is ONLY used for music uploads to your device. 🙄🤨😖
I wanted to be able to push wifi updates/sync, such as weather, when not near my phone (like Samsung allows) but that's not available - at least not yet.
Anyway, I'm guessing that's why the quick on-off. No firmware or music update so disconnect. ??
Oh, I was also told that wifi only works when attached to the charger. ??

Wait so I don’t need wifi to download updates on my watch such as firmware updates because I was on a chat to Fitbit and I asked him/her if I need wifi in order to update my watch and he/she said yes I need wifi in order to download firmware updates, so what ur telling me is that when it sees no point of having wifi it just turn off to conserve battery.

I am having the same problem with my wifi disconnecting and having to sign in again. I Love what the Sense offers for me. The Sp02 is now saying can not get reading. I am also noticing that it is not counting all of my steps. Any suggestions out there. I have turned off the Sense and restarted. I have checked for updates but says there are no new ones. My clock face is rated for Sp02 and was working great yesterday but not today. Is this due to the wifi disconnecting?
