Does anyone know if I would be able to connect my Fitbit sense to a heart rate monitor( not sure which brand yet, still doing my research!)

Assuming you mean something like a chest strap electrical senor, no.

Actually, no for any external monitor for any fitbit model.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
