Loyal Fitbit user for years despite persistent battery, charging, and iOS software hassles, but this latest episode wherein I dutifully downloaded new firmware and subsequently watched my (barely) four days of battery life drop to (barely) two and then recharging doesn’t happen at all has broken me. Good luck with everyone who’s android or willing to switch to android. You’ve made it impossible for this iPhone user to be a Fitbit user at the same time. For the record, I don’t use *any* of the battery-sucking optional features and never have. All I wanted was steps, heart rate, and knowing the time. Bright side at least I won’t have to look at these **ahem** hourly solicitations to set up Fitbit as a “wallet” any more.
