Green light on Sense back won’t turn off

Got a new Fitbit Sense and the green light does not stop flickering when removed from the wrist. Liaised with customer service - Apparently one cannot turn it off in Sense. Also, they mentioned that this won't drain the battery anyways. I found a work around though - keep the device upside down (on a soft surface to avoid scratches). That turns off the green lights.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Sriram.I. Thank you for letting us know about your work around to turn off your Sense green lights.

Your Sense lights should turn OFF when they are not touching a surface. Your workaround works great to avoid scratches.
