The heart rate on my sense is not accurate. It was working fine but today while I’m exercising when I exert myself it even goes lower. I’m usually in cardio zone at the exercise that I’m doing and it’s at 88. It is paired with my device and I have tried taking it off and putting it back on again. Any thoughts?

Its not accurate, so much so I can clock up active zone minutes without going anywhere!
It seems very inaccurate - the only time it seems to get close to reality is when you are being absolutely still for 20 seconds or more, assuming you raise the screen timeout to the max in order to be able to see it.
It can be accurate, just not if you are moving.

I’m having the same issue. Working out with the weights exercise and my heart is pounding but the sense says my heart rate is in the 80’s. I hope Fitbit can fix this.

I contacted them again today. We have 2 sense's in the house. I put on my wife's sense and it tracks properly. Today at the gym I took my O2 sensor with me. I get off the spin bike at the gym, heart pounding out of my chest, breathing heavy, my O2 sensor shows my pulse at 138 my sense showed 87, lol. Today they said they are now escalating my complaint to someone higher up. I also did mention about this thread and had them note my issue is not a single issue that several are having the same issue. I will update when I hear from the 'higher ups'

Heart rate is not accurate at all on Fitbit Sense plus it is irritating my skin and causing a rash. I bought a Garmin and I have no problems at all. Fitbit is big no no for me!!! I am returning Sense today.

When lifting weights today my heart rate was +120 when checking manually at the carotid artery; my sense, unfortunately, was only recording about 80 beats per minute. This could be dangerous - someone could push themself harder than they should if going by the sense's erroneous heart rate. This needs a fix immediately. This is my second and last Fitbit purchase.

Curious if you ever heard back about the heart rate issue. I am having the same problem and it's very frutrating especially given how much this device cost

If you look through this board, there are many threads on this. The new Heart rate sensor seems to be the culprit - it doesn't detect the increases in the HR quickly enough. I had a Versa before and I have an acute sense of a downgrade, as the tracking is way way off. It's a gift so can't really return it plus don't have access to my old Versa at the moment so stuck with a £300 fitness tracker that doesn't do its nr 1 job. Really frustrating.

Same problem. I had the Fitbit 2 prior to the sense and had no issues. This sense is very inaccurate. I would like to hear form Fitbit support. Sense is a like buying a pig in a poke. Very disappointed and I’ve been with Fitbit for several years.
