I’ve been working out and noticing the heart rate on my sense is not accurate.
today I worked out on the treadmill and my heart rate was closer to 140bpm and the sense was reading only 105

how can I fix this?

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit community.

There's a known delay in the Sense showing heart rate change and it can miss heart rate max. Updates have made the delay shorter but it's still there and max reading can still come up short. When you check your workout in the app, was your max only 105 or does it show something higher? Personally, I've noticed it seems to be lower on the watch but on the app it registered higher. For example, I've hit 179 BPM in the app but I never noticed it on the Sense.

@Reed123 If you search the forum, you'll find many threads and it's a known issue for over a year. Here is Fitbits response. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Sense/Heart-rate-inaccurate-on-Fitbit-Sense/m-p/5029213/highlight/tr...

Doesn’t change in the app.    It shows my workout didn’t go over 105bpm.
it was a 45 min workout and at no point did it go over.
I should have been i in n cardio for at least half

And you're wearing the watch the recommended way?

@Reed123 you can't fix it. It's known issue for over a year. Bad luck you have chosen Sense.

It's a known issue there's a delay in registering heart rate change and that the max heart rate read can be below by a little but I would say his issue of not going over 105 BPM is a minority.

@eezeepee Walking as hard as I could for two miles wouldn't even hit 90 BPM. And Support said a replacement wouldn't help as it's a known issue. You're trying awfully hard to defend the product, despite Fitbit Employees acknowledging there is an issue.

I'm far from defending. I did acknowledge there's issues with it how accurate or inaccurate it can be. I'm just saying that for me I can get it to track my heart rate above 105 BPM. I've even hit 179 BPM as my high which, manually check, was accurate. I'm not sure if you've seen me post this elsewhere but it's been objectively compared to a Polar 10 chest band: https://youtu.be/qt7hBdddCrw

In the end, all fitness tracker especially ones on the wrist, can vary on the individual user.

Yeah I watched the video. Weightlifting issues are common on a lot of wrist fitness trackers/smartwatches as he's stated. Watch his reviews on other ones. This one in particular is especially bad. Here's my own weightlifting and I can get a decent average and max but I spot checked my own pulse and it's reading can definitely be low.
