Automatically, no.

And those 7 activities, other than walk and run, are iffy.

Consider you are asking Fitbit to recognize your activity just from the movement pattern of your wrist.  7 activities seems a stretch to me but that's what they claim.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
