How do I turn Sense off after a factory reset?

I am returning my sense. Trying to figure out how to turn it off after factory resetting it as it keeps turning on to try and get me to download the app. It is making a lot of noise and I just want it turned off for good. How do I do this?

@Odyssey13 You must not have read my post. That doesn't help me. I am trying to turn off the watch AFTER the factory reset. I am not setting it up at all. I am returning it. It says to download the app and start the setup and CONTINUES to turn on and off to chime to tell me to do that. I want it off for good. I've already scoured the fitbit website and came across the article that you posted..

It does NOT let me get to the settings menu unless I download the app. I'm done with fitbit.

Hi there, @AtrainT13@Odyssey13 Thanks for your help.

@AtrainT13 Thanks for the details and time while working on this situation. Let me explain that it's not possible to turn off the Sense unless it's set up in a Fitbit account. However, you can always return your device even if it's turned on as it won't track or sync your personal stats anymore.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience experienced with your Sense. Our team constantly works to improve our devices and services, and the input we receive from our members is a big part of the process. Your feedback is truly appreciated and please know it won't be taken for granted.

Hello. I’m experiencing the same issue. Is there a way to at least turn the volume off? It keeps making a sound every so often because it’s trying to setup. It’s getting annoying!

Hi @Gifting - as mentioned it's not possible to turn the watch off after a factory reset, but may be if you turn off the phone's Bluetooth it might stop making a noise, it's worth a try.
