How reliable is fitbit sense band?

I changed my job after almost 3 years and decided to upgrade myself from Charge 3 to Sense. However, when Sense arrived, I realized that the bands slot for Charge 3 was probably much better.

Its been less than a week for me I am using Sense, but I want to ask to the community - is the band latch and its fitting with band reliable as it was in Charge 3? Because the edge where it gets inserted in the latch of Sense seems to be pretty small. Although I am no expert here, I have this doubt! Hence is the question.

I changed my band recently on my Sense and it hasn't even come loose.  That was about 6 months ago.  I changed the band from the original band  due to an allergic reaction.  Changed to my first replacement band, that lasted 2 years, and the only reason I replaced that one was because one of the latches (not the one that attaches to the pebble) broke.

I have had my original band since December 2020. No issues.

Hi

When I first got my Sense I was a bit worried about the durability of the band it looked flimsy

However personally after getting used to it I find its the most comfortable strap and really tough

I work for the NHS delivering and installing medical equipment from grap rails ,hospital beds even raising furniture and the band has been absolutely fine

I had a hard time getting the sport band to seat properly in the slots.  It kept coming loose, which would not be good in the pool.  I did get it to stick reliably however after a few tries.

I have had my sense for about a month. The band falls off daily. I have tried different bands and same problem. I just received a replacement and I cannot even get a band to seat. Never had this problem with other Fitbits I have owned.

Even though I did get my sports band to secure properly, I'm concerned that if I remove it to thoroughly clean off the pool chemicals that it won't go back on.  This is a very poorly designed quick release system.
