How to add an exercise or activity on the Sense shortcuts. The navigation for fitbit has changed so much! Instead of making it easier, they made it so difficult.

To add an exercise or activity to the Sense shortcuts on your Fitbit device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Fitbit app: Ensure your Fitbit Sense is connected to your phone via the Fitbit app.

  2. Go to the Sense device settings:

    • In the Fitbit app, tap on your profile picture in the top-left corner.
    • Select your Sense device from the list of connected devices.
  3. Customize your Shortcuts:

    • Scroll down and tap on Exercise Shortcuts (or something similar, depending on your app version).
    • This will show you the current shortcuts on your Sense device.
  4. Add an Activity:

    • Tap on the Add Exercise or Add Shortcut button (the option may vary depending on the app version).
    • Browse through the list of available activities and select the one you want to add (e.g., Running, Cycling, Yoga, etc.).
    • You can add several shortcuts depending on the available space on your device.
  5. Rearrange Shortcuts:

    • If you want to change the order of your shortcuts, simply tap and hold on the exercise or activity, then drag it to your preferred position.
  6. Sync your device: Once you're satisfied with your selected shortcuts, sync your Fitbit Sense to update the changes.

After syncing, you'll be able to quickly access the added exercises directly from the Sense device, making it easier to track your workouts.

@4Melanie   There are 20+ exercise shortcuts on the Sense and they are all on the Exercise app that is on your Sense 2.  As you use the Exercise app, the list get split between Recent and the rest of the list.  This list is fixed and you can't add additional activities.

@pathofbuilding   You went to a lot of effort to provide an explanation, but those directions are for older models, not the Sense.
