I have had my fitbit sense a few days, switched from having a cheap and cheerful huawei which I picked up after my Charge died a few months back. I noticed that a walk I do on a regular basis has suddenly got longer, 1.66 miles vs 1.4! However when I look at the actual map its clear the GPS is jumping all over the place I most certainly am not staggering around that much!
I have just come back from a walk and it lost GPS signal several times, something I have never had with my phone or other watches. If I was using the GPS on my phone and it was doing this I would re-calibrate my gps in google maps, and all would be good, but I can't see an equivalent for the sense?
I purchased the sense the help me with rehab from a hip replacement so accurate stats are important. The variation is so great Strava is no longer seeing the same walk as the same route to compare progress day to day.

@FleurPot you can't do it. I find Sense GPS not very reliable. I had two Sense watches and both experience very long connection times and disconnecting quite frequently despite other devices I use maintained stable connection. It's something you have to live with if you went for Sense. On one of my half-marathon races the GPS connection has been acquired after 6km of the run. I'm just lucky that Fitbit is just a "companion" watch and I track data with more reliable watch so I guess I'm not very concerned about it.

It's very disappointing, especially given the price point of it. I'd be better off with a cheaper model and using the GPS on my phone!

To be honest, I can't quite understand why Fitbit doesn't implement their Dynamic GPS (or whatever they call it now) in all the GPS models since Charge 4. Only C4 and C5 allow to use either built-in GPS or mobile phone GPS. The feature seems like an amazing idea and would be good to have it on all the devices. It's like there is a team working on Charge series and team working on Sense/Versa series and they don't communicate.

Yes it was driving me crazy trying to find the setting to switch to my phone GPS and it was nowhere!
