I can't answer notifications on Fitbit Sense

I got a new Fitbit sense and I can only decline calls and am unable to awnser them, I also can't reply to texts, also is it meant to need sinking every day?        Please help me

Hi @Itisnotworkinh - welcome to the Community forum!

  • Which phone are you using to sync?  You cannot reply to texts from an iPhone. (Apple has blocked that ability.)
  • Is your phone up to date for the specs Fitbit needs? (You can check here.)  
  • Are you keeping your phone nearby? For calls, the Sense works with your phone. It cannot answer calls without it. Here is a link to troubleshooting tips.
  • Finally, as for how often you should be syncing ... Your Sense is set up to sync automatically when the phone is nearby. So, for most of us, that means the Sense will sync several times a day. This is necessary to keep the info on your Sense current with what is on your phone and on the Fitbit servers.

In addition have you setup Sense Controls? We are assuming you do not have the option to answer calls. 

Is your mic turned on? 

Maybe you do have the option to answer a call and it doesn't work. Using the phrase "I can't" doesn't really help us in determining what is not happening. 

 

When you say you can not reply to texts, are you referring to reply with voice? Can you do a quick reply?

I have the option to awnser calls but the button won't work instead of
being bright green its dark green
