Inaccurate calorie tracking

I recently changed from my Ionic (due to Fitbit’s recall) and changed to a sense. Since doing so my calories during workouts are non-existent.

according to my sense I am currently burning 1.5 calories a minute.

I may as well dig on the sofa if that’s the case.

is this an ongoing issue with the newer Fitbit’s’? I found my Ionic much better!

Check your weight, and that you have not turned off heart rate.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My weight tracked by Fitbit Aria so should be ok and heart rate is on

I have the same issue with my sense. I don’t know how accurate the calories burned tracking is but I went from burning ~18k per week to 5k…and I’m doing the same amount of exercise if not more, eating the same, etc One day in January the calories totally dropped. I can’t figure out why?

I believe this is happening due to the continued heart rate inaccuracies which are tied directly to calorie tracking. The heart rate is a known issue and Fitbit is aware yet no fix as of yet. I’d suggest writing to them on Twitter, mostly they try to be helpful!
