I've worn a fitbit for years, taking advantage of the features they offer.
When I had an odd blip over the summer with a highly elevated pulse for two hours, I chose to activate the Irregular Rhythm feature.
It was a non-issue until mid- October when I experienced the issue again for 4 hours. Followed advice to purchase a Kardia Mobile device.
Subsequently over the next month experienced regular bouts of this where Fitbit revealed NOTHING and by Kardia device showed atrial fibrillation. My Fitbit Sense clearly shows my heart rate jumping around during these bouts. I can feel it in the pulse in my wrist too.
I'm on medication for this now and have an ablation procedure but your app feature sucks!
Remove it from your portfolio as it's crap!

@87hawkeye I participated in Fitbit's Heart Study that created this feature. Every test has the possibility of giving you a false positive or a false negative result. You experienced a false negative result. If you live in the US, you can report your experience to the FDA, a much more effective way of reporting a false negative. Medical Device Reporting
I'm glad you got the right diagnosis. My husband also developed atrial fibrillation (before this feature existed) and had an ablation over two years ago.

Hello @87hawkeye and welcome to the Community. You are describing a possible app bug, something very different from the OP's post. If you use an Android phone, please add your comment to this thread. You can also follow this thread for updates from Fitbit. I suspect you use an Android phone, because there is no similar thread in the iOS forum and mine loads correctly.

I have been having the same problem. This makes the app worthless. The reason I got it was to show my doctor the data when I have been afib. Worked great up until the last update. Now, not only can't I view it, but it completely freezes the app so all I can do is close it.

Its a shame we can't roll back to the previous version somehow, I totally agree about the frustration, I now have a KardiaMobile device and that data is more accurate and accepted by the doctors and hospitals
