Is Sense 2 band the same one as the Sense?

I just ordered the Sense 2. Will it have the same band as the original Sense?

@BBBird   It looks like it is the same infinity band.  The bands are interchangeable between devices.  Some users posted about band irritation from the Sense and Versa 3 bands.  If this is your concern, I can't find any documentation that the band is made from a different material.

I have a same curiosity as well, but the band of sense 2 is so comfortable to wear. It will be nice to know what material is @fitbitsupport

I got replacement sense strap before I ordered the sense 2 watch. The straps looked the same so thought it was no problem. Got the watch today and set it up. Only to change it to the straps I ordered and it didn't click into place. Very sad as I thought I had everything sorted

I have had the same problem had about 5 straps from.my sense and found none of the metal straps are compatible only the plastic ones.

My Sense bands do not fit my new Sense 2. Both ends go in but only one will click and be secure.

Is it possible they are non Fitbit bands and not to specification. In which case they may not fit a Sense either.

The bands made by Fitbit normally list both models. See this metallic example

These bands are not interchangeable. I upgraded from the sense to sense 2 and my bands that I had been using with my sense did not fit my sense 2.

Nope. Lots of stuff says they are interchangeable but if you read you will see that only one side will fit and be secure.

In fairness all of the bands I had they were not fitbit branded. However the link you posted is useful but very limited on styles and colours and I wonder if this is something fitbit/other vendors could take on board. So far I am.limited to only my plastic straps.  Would be great to see new styles. (I am hopeful ☺️)

Now some time has passed, there's starting to be infinity/nylon/elastic bands being made and available for the sense 2 now. I've recently got a few different bands. I got mine off Amazon
