I've used a Sense, and quite honestly it's not very different from a versa. I got the Sense when it was on sale for $100 less than the MSRP--at $199 vs. $299. At $199, I can see recommending it. But at $299, I think it's very much overpriced, and you get virtually the same capabilities as the Versa 3, which is currently on sale for $50 off at $179 at least here in the USA, through fitbit's website. So...fitbit is very good in my opinion with health/fitness tracking, I don't consider it as paying for a brand name with no benefits, but they have taken a path of subscription model to see some of your data, which rubs the me wrong way. You don't need to pay for the subscription to most of your info, but the fact that you are paying for an expensive device, I disagree with a subscription model on top of that. One thing that fitbit chooses to do is they don't show you actual measurements from some of the sensors, and instead only show you insights from them--which I get, and fundamentally that's nice because while a user can't necessarily know the significance of a measured value on its own, they would be able to take the useful information that the app/service tells them--for example, the watch measured your SpO2 while you were sleeping and it was low, or your skin temperature during sleep was elevated, and tells you maybe you're sick or stressed, and you should try some meditation through the app. But they only measure SpO2 and temperature during sleep, and offer no option for you to take those measurements manually on-demand.

Hello @sam1999 and welcome to the Community. There is a significant hardware difference between the Sense and the Versa 3. The Sense has the sensors for the ECG and EDA scan apps. Other than that, they use the same operating system. So the rest of the features are the same. The choice between the two depends on your needs.
All of your other very valid observations have been shared by others. I also agree with them.
