Please see page 76.
Fitbit manual says Water RESISTANT up to 50 meters.
However, I have seen post where the sense has failed for some while swimming.

Hi, @11223344556677, welcome, I'm a daily swimmer with various Fitbit devices including the "Sense" and have never had a problem.
Cheers

Is it safe for swimming in a salt water pool? Thanks in advance.

Hi @Citygrl - see the reply by @Clove6060 above. Pool salt content is only 3 ppm but still best to clean afterwards.

I wouldn't try it in salt water. The salt in the water is corrosive and could damage the inside of the device.
Fresh water is fine. Years ago when the Ionic came out, I was wearing the Ionic when my niece (then 5), decided to play her favorite game in the wading pool: "Let's Soak Auntie"!
Needless to say, the watch came out of the water without a scratch or drop of water in it.

@DramaQueenDiva - frankly, after reading so many posts where the face fell either off or it stopped working after it got water in it, which happened to me, it is probably not worth the risk of getting it wet after the warranty period, if you want the watch to last.
It may survive, it may not. A bit of a gamble, irrespective of slightly salty water..

I had mine in the pool for about 3 minutes before I realized and it’s now dead… wouldn’t suggest taking FB’s word that it is in any fashion water resistant.
