My Fitbit Sense has been randomly discharging from 100% to stone dead in a matter of hours since I got it. This is my third Fitbit Sense, having already had two replaced under warranty for this exact issue.
I am not bothering with support this time because a) I think the warranty has expired now and b) even if it hasn't, they will just put me through another week of having all the features I bought the **ahem** thing for turned off so they can confirm there's a problem and then just send me another one which will also be broken.
I've had three of these, and they all have the same problem. I'm either extremely unlucky and have been sent three duds in a row, or the issue is more pervasive and needs fixing. I tried to explain this to support last time it happened and they just informed me that engineers would be made aware of the issue.
I suspect nobody cares, but needless to say, this whole experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I had hoped to give this latest replacement to my son (I got a Pixel Watch) but it keeps dying on him for no reason because it is fundamentally broken.
I love the Fitbit service, but I won't be buying any hardware from this company going forward. If the intent in not fixing this fundamental problem was to push users to upgrade, it failed spectacularly.
