I'm coming from the original Samsung Galaxy Watch. So far here are the impressions I get in no particular order:
1. The screen display is sharp and easily readable.
2. The responsiveness of the swipe gestures is a tad flaky but that is more me than the watch - swiping has to start from the bezel and proceed, not just anywhere in the watch face
3. The appstore is maybe a bit slow to download an update - the "Coach" app needed an update and the first thing it did is say it couldn't contact the watch. Then it went well - could be that the phone was too far away from it.
4. This solid state button... This will take a bit of getting used to. As is, it's okay, I guess. But I might hate it after awhile.
5. This watch is VERY light and nice to wear.
6. Design - very clean and nice
7. Strap - pretty comfortable but maybe just a little hard to put on
8. Phone software - good. Maybe not as easy to understand the data as it used to be but still good enough to get an idea of my health at a glance
Overall, my first impressions of this watch is somewhere around an 8 out of 10. It may go up when the ECG is enabled and when tethered calling/audible Alexa replies are enabled. But I'd say that the watch is worth it so far.

Not sure I'm going to keep this watch. Hopefully an update will come out soon before I have to return it. It seems laggy to me, swiping gestures are hit-and-miss, GPS continually disconnects, should be able to reset step counter, the fact that you have to pay for some data in a premium is ridiculous. The battery life and the screen are amazing, the band absolutely sucks

I can grok all of that. Still the pros outweigh the cons for me.= is all.

I got my new Sense about 2 weeks ago and I am NOT impressed. I really was unsure about sticking with FitBit after they merged with Google. I have been with FB for a while, started with a Fitbit One that still works, added a Surge which died after 2 years, then was given a Blaze which currently has a grey screen and won't connect to anything. I have several Polar heart rate monitors (chest strap type with Polar watches that connect to those when I am exercising and need my heart rate to be more accurate than a wrist HRM can provide) but Polar wrist based fitness watches don't get particularly well reviewed. Samsung smartwatches don't have many fitness features. I never really considered Garmin fitness trackers because I never liked my car's Garmin GPS interface and I could not imagine a smartwatch from Garmin would be much better. So I reluctantly bought the Fitbit Sense, and I regret the purchase.
1) The screen scratches really easily -- I bought a screen protector but the soft sides prevented me from using the ECG and other apps that require you to touch the metal bezel. In the 3 days between discovering that limitation and waiting for a protector that only covers the screen, I ended up with multiple scratches on the face.
2) The band is UGLY and uncomfortable, and the attachment mechanism is stupid. I bought a replacement band but it keeps coming off since the attachment mechanism does NOT always hold it despite seeming to click in place. I lost the Sense in a snowbank for a while because the band came undone while shovelling snow.
3) The Fitbit app on my Windows 10 computer (which I need to use in order for it to connect to wifi when I needed to download apps since it will NOT connect automatically as it is supposed to when put on the charger and in the vicinity of the wifi) keeps prompting me to unpair my Sense from device. I tried uninstalling Fitbit app, restarting computer, restarting Sense, reinstalling app, etc. multiple times and still this annoying message appears.
4) The Fitbit Premium trial gives me paid Deezer account for 3 months but no matter how often I try the steps to download my own MP3 playlist to the watch, I get the "some tracks in this playlist are not supported by Deezer for download to your watch" even though the Deezer app thinks they should download just fine. I only have 8 short songs in the playlist, all in the proper format, yet I cannot get it to work so no offline music possible.
5) The touchscreen swipes are not very responsive, especially with a screen protector on, and the lack of physical buttons exacerbates this problem.
6) I resent the BLOATWARE, especially the wallet, which cannot be removed, but takes up valuable storage space even though I will NEVER use it!
7) GPS sucks. Tried in on multiple walks and it lost my path multiple times while draining the battery (although not as bad as GPS drained the battery on my Surge).
So overall, NOT worth the money.
