Laptop making noise after charging Sense

How do I stop my Laptop from making the charging noise like when I first plug my Sense into the USB?

I called Fitbit and they heard the noise and advised I restart my Laptop but that did not help.

It's a four note notification that keeps repeating.  Any suggestions welcome!

Only suggestion is to look for some hidden dialog box waiting for you to answer a question.

From "4 note notification" description, I assume it is not fan.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@rrubin Welcome to the Ftibit community.

Along with @JohnnyRow suggestion, you should really charge  your Sense with an actual USB charging block. Most computer USBs are very low in amperage.

Hi @rrubin -  did you remove the charge cable from the computer. They are magnetic and just possibly something may be causing a short circuit.

Also if you reattach the watch and charger again does that help?

The magnet is not a moving field and should not be a problem.

Your laptop will only supply an half an amp, while the tracker can handle an amp. I would be using the phones charger.

Then again, the noise could be coming from a componant that is about to fail.
