There has been no Fitbit or Sense updates in quite a while! Have I missed something? Thanks

Fitbit development, both software and hardware, does seem to have been stagnant unfortunately.

Just wrote Fitbit wondering about lack of updates for Fitbit itself and Sense!! Don’t believe I’ve encounter this issue before. Certainly it’s important to maintain updates.

I'm going to speculate on some speculation I have been reading about.  The rumor of a Pixel watch being introduced at Google I/O, usually held in May, with some Fitbit involvement.  That all makes sense if you believe the rumors since they bought Fitbit two years ago there abouts.  I would hope that product integrates into the Fitbit ecosystem.   In addition, there are also rumors of a Fitbit device that is more closely linked to Google.  Not sure what it means since we already have Assistant available on the newer devices. 

If this all turns out to be real, I sure hope hope hope they keep the Fitbit ecosystem because Google Fit doesn't cut it for me.  Anyway, if true it is likely lots of the development team will be working on the new products with not much left over for the older stuff.  Just a speculation on my part.

Makes perfect sense….sad, as I believe they consistently neglect problems
and “true” fixes! Guess that will continue!
