Left Sense button pressing with ANY wrist motion

Hey All,

I just got the fitbit today, I've had a fitbit in the past and it was delightful. I was excited to wear the sense and test it out with some of my daily activities. I put it on, it felt pretty comfy and I was enjoying it for about 30 minutes until any and all times i bent my wrist or leaned on something the button would start pressing. I took it bouldering and it constantly paused my work out and the vibration was extremely distracting. I've searched the internet for a solution to this but I have not been able to find one. In fact, it seems like this is a massive design flaw in the Sense and has been brought up by many users. Would love some answers to these questions:

1. Fitbit do you have any plans to fix this massive issue with the sense with either a way of reversing the orientation of the clock face or allowing the user to disable the button?

2. Is my watch defective and is this button sensativity issue not normal?

3. Community, have you found any solution to prevent this extremely annoying and distracting issue?

If there isn't a solution, I don't know how I can keep this. I've had it for half a day and leaning on my side has already caused the watch to shut down form prolonged button holding.

I hope a costumer service can help,

-Jake

Try wearing it higher or perhaps best solution is to wear it on your other arm. Make sure the setting in the app correlated with wearing it on the dominate or non-dominate hand.

I've played with all the settings and adjusted the strap as well. There is no way to wear this where the button doesn't press any time I bend my wrist on either hand. That being said, compromising on the product to "make it work" is not my ideal method. Hopefully a Fitbit Rep has a better solution and or support if there is something actually wrong with this product.

Thanks,

-Jake

So if it is on your left wrist with the button facing your forearm/elbow it still gets depressed?  You got some flex. JK

I hope you get it resolved.

@GardenBearJake  - Did you try a clock face in the gallery that rotates so the button is on the other side - it may not solve all problems but could work for you as an interim solution, found SimpleClockPro-L.
