Low battery indicator while charging

While charging, my Sense has been showing low battery icon, even though charge level is pretty high & it's actively charging

Not sure what this means, my wife's Sense is showing a normal charging icon.

Bad firmware? Dying hardware? Other?

@Fry-kun   Since your Sense isn't showing the battery charging icon, are you sure that is is actually charging?  When you attach it to the charger, do you see the battery charging screen, the image with the battery charge level in the center of some circles?  Please try cleaning the back of your Sense with some alcohol and a soft toothbrush to clean the charging contacts.

Yes, it's charging in this case. I see the screen with circles for a second or two after plugged in. Have been cleaning the contacts recently, no change.

Sometimes it fails to charge, cleaning doesn't help at all in those cases

@Fry-kun   Maybe it's time for a chat with Support.  You've done appropriate troubleshooting, yet your Sense isn't behaving normally.  It's my only other suggestion.
