While I am able to receive phone calls from my Fitbit Sense I can't get any messages notification.  Why is that. Thank you very much

I had this exact same problem. I took it back for a refund after trying everything but the shop figured out in the phones settings (iPhone 11) the banner style needs to be on persistent. Try settings- notifications- Fitbit- turn banner style to persistent.
