@Lizzyp1234 you've posted in the forum for the original Sense. If that is the device you have, it doesn't have a typical button. There is a haptic button on the left side that looks like a small indentation. You can just cover that space with your finger and gently squeeze it. There's not really a button to press.

I'm not quite understanding how the button on the Sense might be missing, if it's a dent on the body of the frame on the Sense.
You might be using another Fitbit Modell. Maybe the Sense 2.
