I run intervals and since intervals aren’t built into the running app, I’ve created the workaround of starting a run on my phone in the Fitbit app and then starting intervals on my watch. It buzzes when I need to start running / walking, which is all I need to get out of the intervals. And the run on my phone keeps my pace, distance, etc. After the workout, I delete the saved interval workout so that I’m not “double dipping.” It worked fantastically on my Ionic, but I recently upgraded to a Sense and have had two situations where it seems to confuse the run app and remove miles.
For example, I ran a full marathon today. I looked at it when I completed and it showed 26.2 miles. But then when I deleted the interval workout, my run now shows 11.82 miles! It doesn’t make sense! I ran a full marathon, and dang it, I want my app to know that. Lol.

Hi @Anna2468. Welcome! It's good to see you around the forums.
Thanks for sharing that your Sense isn't recording your exercises data as your Ionic did before. I understand how you're feeling about this situation and how important is to get interval workouts recorded correctly. I'll help you with this matter. As you may know, the Mobile Run feature on the Fitbit app requires to have the location services turned on and the Fitbit app running in the background. If one of them is missing, the data might not be tracked correctly or at all. If everything was set correctly, I'd recommend the following:
Let me know how it goes.

Another option is to get a GymBoss interval timer. They run about $20 on Amazon and you can set it to vibrate, beep or both. It's small and can be clipped to your clothes or put in you pocket.
