For the last 5 years I allways bought FItBit's because they were the only brand supporting stand alone music so you can workout in the gym, crossfit or run without beïng annoyed by a huge cellphone...
I became Deezer member and even premium because it worked great.
Then it went to Google, over to spotify, but it only supports 'control' and needs the phone nearby.
The internal store option for 'my music' is gone...? Strange enough, my internal storage keeps telling it's 75% full because it's used bji Deezer...Even after 2 resets to factory settings...I allready canceled al my premium memberships on deezer, spotify and FitBit, I don't want to quit the watch itself too...It feels like I'm going back in time for 10 years...Where is my Ipod shuffle or Sony Ericson w800i when i need it?
I'm really looking forward that Google is going to update this and make a proper workaround.
I'd really like to get 2 questions anwsered;
1) Will Google / FitBit make it possible again in the next 6 months to playback music from the device itself, so without a phone nearby?
2) How many active members are/ will leave FitBit because of losing this feature?

Hi @Rikvandervorm - 1) Fitbit finally removed loading on board music end March 2023 so that no watches have this ability now, it is the direction they are going.
