I bought my Fitbit Sense so I would be able to control my music and track my workouts from my watch. Whenever I try to change the music it exits my workout and stops tracking. This should be an easy feature to accommodate and a key reason I bought the device.

Try picking the music controls, not the Spotify.
There are some apps that will run in the background, the exercise app is not one of them.
I'm not sure how much of a change you want @Tnewton but try the quick menu option.
Depending on how the user configured this, it is either holding in the button, or a quick double tap of the button.
Then you should have access to play, next and previous tracks.
Best AnswerHi Rich, Thanks for the recommendation. I tried that unfortunately. When i set the button to use the shortcut to hold the side button, it takes me to Spotify, but before it does it says "Starting Spotify will close out Exercise" If i click yes, then it closes and ends tracking my workout and takes me to Spotify. Essentially the watch won't let you have the 2 "apps" running at the same time.
