Hi guys,
I recently purchased a Fitbit Sense after I wanted to upgrade from my Gear fit Pro 2 to a nicer watch. I have the Fitbit close to 2 weeks now and I am regretting my purchase sooo much!
Here's the deal:
I used my Gear fit Pro 2 to track my daily steps, and weekly exercises. It did a fantastic job (minus that it lacked sometimes on the bpm continuity while working out and that I had to charge it everyday night or the next morning.) But It never overestimated my activities.
Now with my Sense is a whole other story. This counts steps in my sleep. Or while I'm sitting and watching TV. I measured my stride length and changed this manually, but it still counts A LOT of ghost steps. I tried the dominant and non dominant switch, and still got A LOT of ghost steps (around 1500 extra steps per day which I didn't take).
I am hoping someone here can help me or hoping Fitbit is releasing a new update to fix this, cause otherwise this will be my first and last Fitbit as I will be returning it (even though it looks SOOOO beautiful on my wrist.).
