Yesterday i ran 3 rounds on my running route but looking at my workout logged by fitbit sense I can see that the GPS does not map this workout correctly.
Even the elevation data does not make sense.

Sense has lots of issues with GPS. The elevation is a different story. It uses a barometer. What you see on the graph, the very "zigzagged" segment is probably related to the weather (became windy? you ran against the wind?). Unfortunately, Fitbit doesn't use GPS data for elevation hence there are two issues related. One is that the weather has a great effect on its accuracy but also the reference altitude is usually wrong. See an example from one of my runs when the weather suddenly changed:
The blue line is Fitbit Sense, the orange - Garmin Fenix 6 Pro with GPS elevation correction. The two segments I marked are windy ones. A sudden change of weather and strong wind. Such things affect Fitbit devices and result in less accurate elevation. There is nothing that can be done as it works as designed. Fitbit doesn't seem to have any elevation correcting mechanisms in place.
